MISC FOOD

A huge Batura from Saravana Bhavan Indian vegetarian restaurant. The chick peas are spicy and very nice.

CHICKEN CHOP
We have guests today, we invited them over for Chicken Chop. It is quite a challenge cooking for 6 pax share.
The portion for guests. They prefer the bigger plain bun.
My own version, with small bun.
We served our guests hot choco. We finally found a brand of hot chocolate that we like - Bonchoco.
Yummy hot chocolate with little marshallows..
So exhausted now, with all the cooking and washing up. But it has been fun. Thank goodness the food and drinks turns out edible. hahahaha..

COLBAR AT WESSEX ESTATE
One of my favorite eating place is the Colbar situated at Wessex Estate (Portsdown Road). A quiet place, nostalgic and serves good food.
This is their Special Fried Rice, which you get an egg on top.
Noodles! If you like them, this is a Must try!
I also love their western dishes - chicken with peas. Quite a rare combination that you hardly get outside at food court or hawker centres.
Lastly, I must mention that I love (did i say I love!) their hot Chocolate drink.
You can visit my photo blog to see how the Colbar looks like. They are opened from 11am onwards. Last order at 8.30pm. Take Bus 191 from Buona Vista MRT.
