PASTA - VEGERONI

Weekend is usually our pasta time.  This time, the same Vegeroni with San Remo pasta sauce.

Ingredients used: Vegeroni, San Remo Pasta sauce, tomatoes, pork, crab stick, mixed veges, garlic, onions, shallots.

I never get tired of it. KK cooked as usual, I just helped with cutting the ingredients.

BREAKFAST @HOME - PASTA RIGATONI

Pasta Pasta!! We found a half packet of pasta in the cupboard, so decided to have pasta for lunch on this lazy Sunday afternoon. Ingredients used: Garofalo Rigatoni, Prego Basil sauce, fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, hotdog, crabstick, capsicum and mixed vege. We used whatever we can salvage from the fridge.





Preparation time:  45mins because it takes a long time to cook the Rigatoni.

My version and KK's version (with parmesan cheese)

I also stir fried some fresh shitake mushroom with garlic.

BREAKFAST @HOME - TOAST & PASTA

Day 3, we kinda ran out of ideas, we walked round and round the supermarket cracking our head what to prepare. We picked up a couple of hotdogs and some pasta sauce. In the end, we settled for the hotdogs with toast. I wasn't feeling too well in the morning, and the "chef" for this morning is KK.  He did most of the work.

Ingredients used: White bread, cheese sausage, egg, japanese cucumber. Preparation time: 30 mins.

Day 4, I had a surprise. KK woke up much earlier to prepare pasta for me. Ingredients used: San Remo Vegeroni, Prego traditional pasta sauce, fresh tomatoes, onions, pork. Preparation time: 30 mins.

MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL

It's Mother's Day tomorrow and we decided to celebrate it today. So what are we making? After much thought, we decided on PASTA! Went to Medi-Ya yesterday to get some ingredients and here we are today messing in the kitchen again. We used vegeroni spiral for the first time, instead of the usual spaghetti. KK's version is nicer as usual, mine is always that disastrous..

It's been a fun day and oh..I feel so stuffed now.
